David Hogg Threatens to Destroy Smith & Wesson Unless They Meet His $5 Million Demand.
David Hogg has been the new young face of gun control since the Parkland shooting in Florida. He has lead a new generation into a fight to take away and restrict gun rights under a false belief that this will bring an end to violence against children in our schools. Hogg’s newest endeavor is to target Smith & Wesson.
Hogg is calling for a boycott of Smith & Wesson if they don’t bend to his demands to “stop manufacturing guns that are illegal under the 2004 Massachusetts assault weapons ban.” In Hogg’s tweet he also demanded that Smith & Wesson give $5 million dollars ANNUALLY to gun violence research or be “destroyed” by the “two things” they “fear most, love and economics.” Sure pal, can you say extortion?
We will destroy you by using the two things you fear most.
Love and economics 🙂 see you soon.

David Hogg, it looks as though you may have broken a law for all of Twitter to see. Educate yourself below Mr. Hogg…
18 U.S. Code § 875(d) states, “Whoever, with intent to extort from any person, firm, association, or corporation, any money or other thing of value, transmits in interstate or foreign commerce any communication containing any threat to injure the property or reputation of the addressee or of another or the reputation of a deceased person or any threat to accuse the addressee or any other person of a crime, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than two years, or both.”
Prosecutors would have to prove that Hogg knowingly threatened to harm the reputation of Smith & Wesson to extort money out of them and a “reasonable person” would have to interpret Hoggs tweet as a threat to Smith & Wesson. Do you think this case will ever get taken up or is there too much protection over liberal leaning activists?
