Perhaps the most harmful thing that radical groups like Black Lives Matter do is their human road block protest right there on the highways. Really BLM. Is this tactic going to mysteriously make folks listen to you? Ill tell you now the answer no. It’s not like all those people trying to get home after a long day of work, is going to jump out of their cars, pick up a sign, and join the cause.

Phoenix activist Rev. Jarrett Maupin led about 50 protesters across the Mill Avenue Bridge in Tempe on Monday, obstructing traffic in what Maupin said was a protest against two police shootings of African-Americans in Arizona.

Protesters chanted “Whose streets? Our streets!” while they continued their march down the middle of the road. Police quickly intervened as the BLM acted as if they owned the ground they stood on it.

Politistick media gave a quick report on the matter:

Based upon how Tempe Police handled those who blocked the streets, they may want to rethink their plan to bully their way into getting what they want. When ‘protesters’ were instructed several times to get out of the road and stop blocking the streets and didn’t comply, they were taken into custody in handcuffs. Police announced over the megaphone that anyone who remained in the street would be arrested.

Tempe Police tweeted that they had no choice but to take Maupin into custody after several commands to cease hindering a public thoroughfare.

It’s about time these protesters start facing real charges for pulling stunts like this. There are always arrests made, but these sorts of blockade rallies, marches, protests, whatever, keep springing up on a day-after-day basis. Can we stop taking crap from BLM, please?
