LiberaLs HATE This New Handgun That Looks Like A Smartphone…We Think Its Simply BADASS

This may look like a picture of man pulling an iPhone out of his pocket, but that’s no iPhone, my friends. It’s a fake iPhone case that can fold into a .380 caliber gun with just one click.

That’s right, the Ideal Conceal Pistol, created by Kirk Kjellberg of Minnesota, is slated to hit stores in December 2016 and will sell for $395. Just in time for the holidays!

Kjellberg, who is also the part-owner of Microwave Utilities, a company that thaws out frozen ground to access underground utilities, told CNN Moneyhe has received over 2,500 emails from people who want to buy his Ideal Conceal Pistol. The much anticipated weapon also has 20,000 followers onFacebook.

According to the Ideal Conceal website, the pistol is a .380 caliber double-barrelled Derringer and is “designed with the utmost safety in mind.”

Kjellberg, a self-described “serial inventor,” says the idea came to him after he drew attention from a child that noticed he was carrying a concealed weapon.

“A boy spotted me in the restaurant and said loudly, ‘Mommy, Mommy, that guy’s got a gun!’ And then pretty much the whole restaurant stared at me,” he told NBC News. And thus, the Ideal Conceal Pistol was born.

Why do you need a gun at a diner? In case a mythical “bad guy” tries to case the joint? How often does that actually happen?

While I understand that the Ideal Conceal Piston’s intended purpose is to not alarm people in the presence of their concealed gun, what about the bad people out there that intend to use the pistol to do harm?

Bill Johnson, the executive director and general counsel for the National Association of Police Organizations, thinks the Ideal Conceal Pistol is a bad idea.

“In general, the concept of any kind of weapon that’s disguised, so that it’s not apparent that it’s a weapon, would be cause for concern,” he told CNN.

According to CBS News, Senator Charles Schumer (D-New York) called the pistol “just a disaster waiting to happen.”

He added, “Just like toys that too much look like handguns should not be sold, handguns that look too much like toys should not be sold.”

In a press conference last Monday, Schumer added, “What’s next, a gun made to look like a chocolate bar?” Enough is enough.” Schumer has called on the Justice Department and the ATF to investigate the Ideal Conceal Pistol.

Kjellberg told CNN, “I welcome Senator Schumer’s investigation as it will show Ideal Conceal pistol is firmly inside both ATF and National Firearms Act guidelines as to what constitutes a pistol and is therefore legal.”

It looks like we have a good old fashioned stand-off on our hands, folks.
