With all of the attempts to make America and the people safer, some on the left feel policies designed to protect us from criminals who are pouring into the country through illegal immigration as proof the current administration and conservatives who choose to support the cause, are racist.
The Mara Salvatrucha, or MS13, is perhaps the most notorious street gang in the Western Hemisphere. While it has its origins in the poor, refugee-laden neighborhoods of 1980s Los Angeles, the gang’s reach now extends from Central American nations like El Salvador and through Mexico, the United States, and Canada.
They rob, extort and bully their way into neighborhoods and have gradually turned to transnational crimes such as human smuggling and drug trafficking.
President Trump is in full force action to take the necessary defense against these gang members to protect the people.

President Trump and his administration have stated that dismantling gangs like the infamous MS-13 is something they aim to accomplish, and as it turns out, they weren’t kidding.
A campaign launched by the president has led to the arrest of 40 members of the gang in New York City and Long Island.
They say the proof is in the pudding. Looks like there’s a whole lot of pudding.
The NY Post is reporting, In an early success of the Trump administration campaign to “devastate” MS-13 and similar gangs, the feds last week arrested close to 40 accused MS-13 gangbangers in the city and Long Island.
Back on April 14, we noted: “Stomping out gangs like MS-13 ought to be a priority for the entire Justice Department.” We’re happy President Trump and Attorney General Jeff Sessions soon vowed to make it so.
The AG personally visited Long Island last month, and the resources Team Trump has devoted to the campaign should continue to show results.
The Treasury Department has labeled MS-13 a “transnational criminal organization” engaged in drug trafficking, kidnapping, human smuggling, murder and sex trafficking in the United States and elsewhere. And the administration has also pledged to take the fight all the way to its “source,” El Salvador.
The job in this area is made tougher by Mayor de Blasio’s “sanctuary city” policy, which has protected some MS-13 members from the feds. City Council Speaker Melissa Mark-Viverito even wants the taxpayers to fund legal help for felons facing deportation.
MS-13 gang members are some of the most violent individuals in the country, and a huge portion of them coming from south of the border clearly indicates there is indeed a credible threat to the national security and safety of American citizens that immigration reform — like a wall — would help to squash.
No, we just want to make the country safer.
