Vladimir Putin Wants Americans to Know Clinton Campaign Advisers Met with the Russians

Leave it to the Kremlin to try setting the record straight.

The liberal media has been in a frenzy spinning any and all contacts between the Trump campaign and the Russian government, attempting to rule it as evidence of election sabotage.

So far they have been unsuccessful.

To add to the lack of proof, Vladimir Putin’s spokesman led off an interview on Sunday with the not to surprising admission that the Russian ambassador who met with Trump campaign officials also met with “people working in think tanks advising Hillary or advising people working for Hillary.”

As the New York Times pointed out:

“It is common and not improper for transition officials to meet with foreign officials. But all meetings between Trump associates and Russians are now significant as the F.B.I. investigates Russian interference in the American election and whether anyone close to Mr. Trump’s campaign was involved.”

Putin’s press secretary, Dmitry Peskov, related the information to CNN host Fareed Zakaria.

“Well, if you look at some people connected with Hillary Clinton during her campaign, you would probably see that he [sic] had lots of meetings of that kind,” Dmitry Peskov said. ”There are lots of specialists in politology, people working in think tanks advising Hillary or advising people working for Hillary.”

Although it has been proven time and time again the Russians should never be ‘taken at their word’, who, exactly, could these officials be talking about?

Perhaps Hillary’s lead campaign manager, John Podesta?

Podesta has had extensive Russian contacts, so it is safe to guess he’s our guy.

Based on WSJ investigative reporting and GAI reports:

  • A major technology transfer component of the Russian reset overseen by Hillary Clinton substantially enhanced the Russian military’s technological capabilities, according to both the FBI and the U.S. Army.
  • Russian government officials and American corporations participated in the technology transfer project overseen by Hillary Clinton’s State Department that funneled tens of millions of dollars to the Clinton Foundation.
  • A Putin-connected Russian government fund transferred $35 million to a small company with Hillary Clinton’s campaign chairman John Podesta on its executive board, which included senior Russian officials.
  • John Podesta failed to reveal, as required by law on his federal financial disclosures, his membership on the board of this offshore company.
  • Podesta also headed up a think tank which wrote favorably about the Russian reset while apparently receiving millions from Kremlin-linked Russian oligarchs via an offshore LLC.

Or could it be Clinton adviser Sidney Blumenthal?

A report from the now disfunctional Gawker website reads:

As Gawker reported last week in collaboration with ProPublica, emails from Blumenthal’s hacked account revealed that he was running what amounts to a private, off-the-books intelligence operation for Clinton, sending her detailed reports on goings-on in Libya, Europe, and elsewhere. Among these memos is one urging Clinton to consider re-examining the State Department’s posture toward the opposition in Georgia.

Furthermore, Blumenthal passed on the advice of foreign agent John Kornblum “without comment.”

Let us also mention that Kornblum, at that time, was working on behalf of Georgian Dream, an opposition party that supported closer ties to Russia.

Generally speaking, it’s fine to lobby U.S. officials on behalf of a foreign power, as long as you register with the U.S. Department of Justice. If you don’t register, it’s a crime. […]

Neither Kornblum nor Blumenthal filed reports with the Justice Department disclosing their efforts to lobby Clinton on behalf of Georgian Dream, according to a search of the FARA online database.

We also like to point out that the U.S. media recently blew up the story of National Security Adviser Michael Flynn working as a lobbyist and as an agent on behalf of the Turkish government.

Now, where are they during the accusation that a Clinton adviser was apparently working on behalf of a Pro-Russian party?

……HELLO!??!!!
