Former President Obama just found out what its like to be a boat anchor to your party.
Elder Patriot – And just like that, Obama is so yesterday.
Patricia Dickson is one of a growing number of minority Trump supporters with huge Twitter followings.
These pioneers have awakened, unshackled themselves, and left the Democrat plantation.
It’s these mainstream minority adults who consider themselves Americans first, and hyphenated Americans not at all, that are the reason, as much as any other, Barack Obama has returned to the campaign trail.
Like the abusive husband who awakens to find his battered wife left him, Obama is learning his boat has sailed.
The Thrill Is Gone: Only 750 Turn Out to See Former President Obama in Far-Left Californiahttps://t.co/HJH0SL96pg

For proof we turn your attention to the speech the former president gave in Anaheim on Friday.
No matter what angle the photographers took their pictures from it became evident that Obama’s return to the spotlight drew, at best, a few hundred people.
It looks like Obama managed to fill a high school auditorium.
George Soros funded Think Progress, a far-left group, was forced to conflate the attendance figures in their account of the event to arrive at the claimed 750.
ANAHEIM, CALIFORNIA — Former President Obama made his first campaign stop of the midterm elections in Orange County, California Saturday to stump for seven Democratic House candidates running in districts currently held by Republicans but that Hillary Clinton won in 2016.
About 750 people attended the event at Anaheim Convention Center, where Obama delivered a short speech centered on unity and the “politics of hope.”
My eyes don’t deceive me. There is no way those pictures, carefully selected as we know they were, showed anywhere near 750 people in the audience.
Even Obama’s message was dated. He first tried appropriating credit for the booming economy from President Trump:

Admittedly that was a pretty hard sell considering that one of the reasons Americans voted for Trump was his promise to restore the U.S. economy to full flower. Everyone remembers one of the closing refrains Trump consistently went to at his campaign rallies: “And, together We Will Make America Prosperous Again.”
And he has.
Make no mistake, Obama is happy satisfying his sycophantic followers with claims that he deserves credit for the economy but he knows as well as anybody that won’t cut it with the broader, more discerning electorate. What to do?
Well, when you fail to deliver a better economy with a policy of “Hope and Change” you turn to denigrating someone else’s better economy by scaring potential voters with “If we don’t step things up, things can get worse.”

Sorry Barack, but this is what success looks like.
