Mitt Romney’s Niece Just Gave a Savage Response to the Incoming Senator’s Op-Ed Attacking Trump

Mitt Romney’s Niece Just Gave a Savage Response to the Incoming Senator’s Op-Ed Attacking Trump.

Sen.-elect Mitt Romney (R-Utah) penned an op-ed bashing President Trump and his “deep descent” at the end of 2018, stating that Trump was not his choice to represent the Republican party.

But, Romney’s niece, who is also the chair of the Republican National Committee, slammed her uncle for going after the President.

“With the nation so divided, resentful and angry, presidential leadership in qualities of character is indispensable, and it is in this province where the incumbent’s shortfall has been most glaring,” Romney wrote.

The tension within the family might be high right now as Ronna McDaniel tweeted her disapproval of her uncle’s words against Donald Trump.

Romney even mentioned what his response to President Trump’s future tweets would be saying, “I do not intend to comment on every tweet or fault. But I will speak out against significant statements or actions that are divisive, racist, sexist, anti-immigrant, dishonest or destructive to democratic institutions.

Trump wasn’t pleased when he found out about Romney’s op-ed and his sentiment was basically, you don’t have to like me, but you do need to be a team player.

“Here we go with Mitt Romney, but so fast! Question will be, is he a Flake? I hope not. Would much prefer that Mitt focus on Border Security and so many other things where he can be helpful. I won big, and he didn’t. He should be happy for all Republicans. Be a TEAM player & WIN!

  1. Mitt should be shunned by the rest of the senators. Had to show where he stands on his first day as a senator. Shame on him. What we have here is another John McCain.

    • Lord Help Us!!! I used to live in Boston when Mitt was governor. We adored him until he put Ryan on his team. Ryan cares for KOCH and screwed the GOP and America. I’m devastated with Mitt. Never thought he’d do this let alone on his first day. Why can’t the GOP ever get their things together and play nice in public? They can sock it to each other behind closed doors. Shame on you Mitt. You’re getting a bad reputation and the Lord doesn’t like this either! Grow Up Mitt and keep your negatives to yourself. Nobody will ever vote Republican again. Let’s be happy and show America we’re great to do business with.

  2. I completely agree with President Trum and
Ronna McDaniel. We do not need another trouble causing, descenting Senator especially a novice Senator. Mitt Romney should be supporting our
President and the wall which he is working to have built.

  3. Romney actually enabled Comrade Obama’s win. I hear he even helped stack the $1.5B in cash to deliver to the Iranian mullahs. Little known fact, KilLiary also helped stack the cash. Odd thing nobody knows: they started with $2.5B but came up short $500M on KilLiary’s pallets….

  4. Mitt Romney is a total disappointment. He is out for Mitt!!! Shows no allegiance to the Republican Party nor the American people! He should pack his bags & go back to Utah!

  5. It is amazing how the members of congress forget that THEY are the employees WE elected. WE are the employers and if it wasn’t for cities like NYC, we would have the representation WE, as the EMPLOYERS, want and need. Thank you NYC, Albany, Syracuse and Buffalo. If socialism, another word for Progressive, is what You want, you cities are really doing the most ignorant job of hiring fools like Shumer and Gillibrand!

  6. Deep State traitors are everywhere! The evil liberal demoncrat Commie Nazi’s party at work here!Don’t forget the RINOs(Gowdy,Ryan, Rubio , Romney, Sessions, Collins, Flake, Haley)they’re just as bad! Drain the rat infested Swamp,Pres Trump!

  7. Trump should visibly exclude Romney from any and all meetings, conferences and social events, basically pretending he does not exist. He should say ‘I was disappointed that the first thing he chose to do was attack me instead of proposing any sort of legislative actions. I do not have time for such negative people as Mr. Romney.’

  8. With McCain out-of-the-picture, Romney is setting himself to be the Democrats’ (and their lapdog media’s) favorite Republican

  9. I applaud Mitt Romney as I did the late John McCain, be your on man (person)and not that of any radical individual filling the position of president of the United States of America or the party that he represents just to get along. Why should you “go along just to get along”. I served three tours in Vietnam.
