Mitt Romney’s Niece Just Gave a Savage Response to the Incoming Senator’s Op-Ed Attacking Trump.
Sen.-elect Mitt Romney (R-Utah) penned an op-ed bashing President Trump and his “deep descent” at the end of 2018, stating that Trump was not his choice to represent the Republican party.
But, Romney’s niece, who is also the chair of the Republican National Committee, slammed her uncle for going after the President.
“With the nation so divided, resentful and angry, presidential leadership in qualities of character is indispensable, and it is in this province where the incumbent’s shortfall has been most glaring,” Romney wrote.
The tension within the family might be high right now as Ronna McDaniel tweeted her disapproval of her uncle’s words against Donald Trump.

POTUS is attacked and obstructed by the MSM media and Democrats 24/7. For an incoming Republican freshman senator to attack @realdonaldtrump as their first act feeds into what the Democrats and media want and is disappointing and unproductive. https://t.co/ArhI7Bi7bo

Romney even mentioned what his response to President Trump’s future tweets would be saying, “I do not intend to comment on every tweet or fault. But I will speak out against significant statements or actions that are divisive, racist, sexist, anti-immigrant, dishonest or destructive to democratic institutions.”
Trump wasn’t pleased when he found out about Romney’s op-ed and his sentiment was basically, you don’t have to like me, but you do need to be a team player.
“Here we go with Mitt Romney, but so fast! Question will be, is he a Flake? I hope not. Would much prefer that Mitt focus on Border Security and so many other things where he can be helpful. I won big, and he didn’t. He should be happy for all Republicans. Be a TEAM player & WIN!“
